Yash Patel.

I'm a Software Engineer and Computing Science student at Simon Fraser University who enjoys understanding how things work, solving challenging problems, and turning ideas into reliable, thoughtfully designed software. I like exploring different areas of computing and taking on projects that give me something new to learn.

My interests span software engineering, algorithms, systems, machine learning, networking, and security. I care about the details behind what I build, including the design decisions, tradeoffs, and underlying concepts, rather than simply getting something to work.

Outside of programming, you'll usually find me playing chess, experimenting with low-poly art, or somewhere down a rabbit hole of research papers. I'm always curious about what I'll discover next.
